Glucophage is used for treatment of type 2 diabetes. It is used along with diet and exercise. It can be used alone or with other antidiabetic drugs.
How Taken
Use Glucophage as ordered by your doctor. Use Glucophage with a meal. It is advised to drink plenty of fluids while you are taking Glucophage. Check with your doctor for instructions. For best effect it is advised to take Glucophage on a regular schedule. Taking Glucophage at the same time each day will help you remember to take it.

Glucophage can cause dizziness. These effects can worsen if Glucophage is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Glucophage with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you respond to this pill. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen,contact your physician. Glucophage should be used only by the patient for whom it has been ordered. Do not take less or more or take it more often than recommended by your physician.
