Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for curing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It can also be used for other conditions as recommended by your doctor.
How Taken
Use Anafranil as directed by your physician. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with a meal. It may take two - three weeks before you notice the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel better.
More Information
Anafranil may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects may worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Anafranil with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you react to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescribed by your physician.
