Drug Uses
Acomplia is used for weight loss, may also be used for treatment of overweight patients who suffer from Type 2 diabetes and abnormal fat levels in the blood. It works by blocking specific receptors in the brain and fat tissues called CB1 receptors. Use Acomplia at the same time with a reduced calorie diet and exercise. Acomplia as well improves cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
How Taken
Use Acomplia as recommended by your physician. Generally Acomplia is taken, one 20mg tablet a day before breakfast.

Acomplia has been found to stop both food and cigarette cravings enough to help people stop smoking and lose weight, and could also help control other unhealthy urges. If taken at the recommended dose, Acomplia is not expected to
reduce your ability to drive. Use Acomplia with caution until you know how you react to this drug. Acomplia should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescripted by your doctor.
