Drug Uses
Reglan is used for treatment of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) (heartburn) in patients who do not react to other treatment. It is also used to treat nausea, vomiting, heartburn, prolonged fullness after meals and for treatment of symptoms associated with a certain digestive problem in diabetic patients (diabetic gastroparesis). It may also be used for other conditions as recommended by your doctor.
How Taken
Use Reglan as ordered by your doctor. Blow Reglan 30 minutes before food intake. It can take several days to weeks for Reglan to work. Do not stop taking Reglan without checking with your physician.
Additional Information
Reglan may cause drowsiness, giddiness, or blurred vision. These effects may worsen if Reglan is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Reglan with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you respond to this medication. If your symptoms do not improve or if you feel bad, call your doctor. Reglan should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than recommended by your doctor.
