Drug Uses
Paracetamol is used for treatment of mild to moderate pain due to headache, muscle aches, backache, joint pain, arthritis, the common cold, flu, toothache, teething pain and menstrual cramps. Paracetamol also decreases fever in adults and children. This drug is usually used in people who cannot take anti–inflammatory (e.g. due to stomach ulcer), as it is gentle on the stomach.
How Taken
Take Paracetamol exactly as directed by your doctor. Do not exceed the directed dosage as it can be very dangerous and life threatening.
Additional Information
Paracetamol may cause dizziness. These effects can worsen if Paracetamol is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Take Paracetamol with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you react to this medication. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your physician. Paracetamol should be used only by the patient for whom it has been ordered. Do not take less or more or take it more often than ordered by your physician.
