Glucophage is used for treatment of type 2 diabetes. It is used along with diet and exercise. It can be used alone or with other antidiabetic drugs.
How Taken
Use Glucophage as ordered by your physician. Take Glucophage with food intake. It is recommended to drink plenty of water while you are taking Glucophage. Check with your physician for instructions. For best effect it is advised to take Glucophage on a regular schedule. Taking Glucophage at the same time daily will help you remember to take it.

Glucophage can cause dizziness. These effects can worsen if Glucophage is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Use Glucophage with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you respond to this pill. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen,call your physician. Glucophage should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than directed by your physician.
