Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It can also be used for other situations as recommended by your physician.
How Taken
Use Anafranil as ordered by your physician. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with a meal. It may take two - three weeks before you feel the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel well.
Additional Information
Anafranil may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects may worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Anafranil with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, call your doctor. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been ordered. Do not take less or more or take it more often than ordered by your physician.
