Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for curing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It may also be used for other situations as determined by your doctor.
How Taken
Use Anafranil as directed by your doctor. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with a meal. It may take two - three weeks before you feel the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel better.
Additional Information
Anafranil may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects can worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Anafranil with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you respond to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
