Many of you have expressed interest in the banana bread recipe name-checked in this video.

Full disclosure, counselors--this recipe actually comes from our family matriarch, Nancy Blackwell. My sister Julie goes on the record as stating that she's tried many other banana bread recipes, but this one dominates time and again. Both Julie and I baked it up this weekend (the bread, you bongwaters...) and it was as great as ever.

Here's the deal - a few months ago, I saw Bloodsong of Love at Ars Nova with the rest of the [tos] gang, and it blew my brains out. I feel deeply in love with Joe Iconis and his wild troupe of monkey friends.

So when Joe asked me to sing an original song he wrote and I jumped at the chance. He is wicked talented and I'm so frickin' lickin' excited to sing with him and his league of super heros on Monday night.

So just come, why don't ya?

celebrating the equal rights and the end of Prop 8!

Jeff would like to go on the record that he will be there in spirit but he unfortunately will be out of town with his partner Michael B on vacation and frankly we can't think of a better way to celebrate gay rights than the two of them off and being gay.

Firstly we are grateful folks are spreadin' the word. In this table flipping, sex tape dropping day and age, it is nice to get some coverage for creating a new piece. (Heidi & Susan...still waiting on that sex tape!)

"So what is this new piece?"

Well, what we can tell you at this point is that we have loved our collaboration together and are thrilled about making something new and that we intend for it to be awesome as opposed to n'awesome. We workshopped a version of the show at the "Shaquille" O'Neill center, liked it and wanted to keep on keeping on.

"Is it a sequel to [title of show]?"

As much as we love Bring Back Birdie and Whorehouse Goes Public, and Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo it is not a sequel.

"Is that all you can tell us, Hunter?"

Well, I can also tell you that hopefully it will rock you and entertain you and make you feel all kinds of delicious feelings. Now quit asking me questions and let Susan and I get back to creating.

I will add that we are so very thrilled and moved to be able to return to the mightiness that is the Vineyard Theatre. That building and the people that make theatre in that building are simply the best. They are the real deal and we are lucky to have a playground to play. That said, if you heart us (and you better or we will find you and we will sit and watch Wipeout together until we're friends) and want to see our new shenanigans the bestest way to secure a chance to see the Vineyard Lab is to rock a membership to the Vineyard.
